“Two Bits” depicts two draft horses pulling a large log segment in remembrance of Bend’s early logging history. The statue was form by welding together many object including a singer sewing machine, hay trolley, tiller wheels, fire extinguisher, shovels, rakes, chain saws, hitch balls, leg hold trap, horse shoes, wrenches, gears, plows, and many other items. The sculptor is Greg Congleton and was donated to the Bend Park & Recreation District by Penny & Phil Knight in 2011. The statue is located in Farewell Bend Park.
