Featured in "Weird Indiana" and the website of Roadside America, this leg sundial is local legend and lore. As part of a nudist resort named Sun Aura (where Ms. Nude Teeny Bopper pageants and "Erin Go Bra-less" St. Paddy's dances once were held), the resort is still in business and still clothing optional. This way mark is not for the shy or those under age...it is still a "clothing optional" campground and resort. Posting a picture of your visit would be great, but make certain to check in at the office and ask permission first. Residents and guests of the Sun Aura may be comfortable in their own skin, but that doesn't mean they want the world wide web to see them in their glory.
The sundial is located behind the office building. Staff and residents are accustomed to inquiries about the "leg" and will gladly direct visitors.
After reading about this in Weird Indiana, this was on our must see list of weird thing and unusual things to see. It was weird. It was unusual. It definitely brought smiles to our faces.
