In 2007, a new kind of Legoland centers was created. The world's first Legoland Discovery Center opened that year at the Sony Center in Berlin, Germany.
During our last visit to Berlin, the waiting line (shown in the picture) was way too long for our tight schedule. Thus, all we could do was taking a picture of the giant Giraffe at the entrance.
While most LEGO sculptures are miniature versions of the real object, this is one of the few ones that are actually larger than life.
Address and Hours: The Center is open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM - the last admission is at 5 PM.
If you only want to see the Giraffe-Sculpture at the entrance, you can do that free of admission and 24 hours a day.
Admission Fee (if any): yes
