Vientiane Capital Bus Station—Vientiane, Laos - Bus Stations on Waymarking.com

This bus station is located in the centre of the not so busy capital city of Laos, Vientiane, on the Mekong River, opposite Thailand. The station handles local traffic inside the city, and is also the departure point for several international journeys across the nearby Mekong River into Thailand.

In design there are two bus station buildings, both with an open design. The larger and busier deals with city traffic, and has a multitude of small buses busily dropping off and picking up folk as they make their way through the day. The smaller station deals with travel to Thailand, across the "Friendship Bridge". Local tickets are purchased on the bus, international at the small booth in the international station.
