Only ten minutes drive from the center of the town of Akureyri, in the Jólagarðurinn or Christmas garden you'll find the magical world of Christmas.

If you can handle the Christmas cheer out of season then the Christmas Garden, 10km south of Akureyri, has a lovely selection of locally made decorations, cards, sweets and traditional Icelandic Christmas foods.
