David Braithwaite is a local sheep farmer who lost his wife the previous year. Having got depressed he decides to sell his farm. The farm is sold to a young couple who know little about farming. James becomes concerned when he finds David’s dog lost and alone and Helen is concerned that David is no longer tending his wife’s grave. David is eventually brought out of his depression when the sheep on his old farm start to become ill, and the young couple ask for his help. He eventually buys the farm back from the couple and resumes his farming.
The clips show Helen and Mrs Pumphrey at the church.
