Long Description:
In this episode the Shadwells senior are retiring and handing the farm over to their son, but there is friction about the cattle between one generation and the next which the vets try to defuse.

Tristan has bought a new toy that Siegfried doesn’t want to pay for, a metal detector. All seems lost for Tristan until Mr Grimsdale’s bull requires an operation to remove barbed wire. Tristan manages to convince the tight fisted Mr Grimsdale that barbed wire is the cause by using the metal detector.
