It's placed above the lower string course on the south-west tower buttress of the parish church of St.Mary, Great Baddow.
Alas it's not in the OS database so can't give any further details, height above Newlyn, last verified date, etc., but it is about 0.5m above ground. The 1938 Essex 1:10560 map shows it at 121.8 feet [above datum].
