An exotic species which is regarded as a noxious plant in many localities throughout Australia because of its ability to naturalize & its destructive root system.
This one has a crown of 104 feet & judging by the ladder & swings, is a favourite of the local children. The tree is listed on the National Register of Big Trees - Australia's largest trees.
You can park right next to it in the Bomaderry Community Centre carpark off Birrilley Street.
