Baskins Creek Cemetery is located off the Baskins Creek Falls Trail. About 1 mile from the south end of the trail you will find a side trail marked with the sign shown in the gallery. Follow the side trail for about 200 yards to the cemetery. The cemetery contains about 20 graves marked with sandstone headstones (some are faintly legible) and 1 engraved marble stone. This cemetery is a good example of the mountain people placing their cemeteries on ground that was not suitable for growing crops.
