The
main photo was taken from a footpath that is about 10m to the north of the bridge.
Footpaths pass under the bridge on both sides of the road so
there are opportunites for photos from many different angles.
This bridge has
a two lane road passing beneath it in a north/south direction. A clearance
height is shown with a clearance of 15 ft 06 in. This
bridge becomes another bridge as it crosses Commercial Road and the platforms of Limehouse
mainline station are partly housed on the bridge.
There is always a
risk of a bridge being struck by a road vehicle and there are normally signs
advising who to contact should a bridge hit be observed. The sign, at this bridge,
reads:
