Siegfried takes on a female vetinary student, Emma Styles, as a favour to an old friend. Calum is assigned to take her on his rounds, which he is not too pleased about at first. On the round Emma is given a hard time by some chauvinist farm hands and becomes disillusioned. Feeling sorry for Emma, Callum’s mood improves and he starts to become attached to her. Deirdrie is back home in Scotland, so Calum decides to take Emma out to see the local sights.
The clips show Calum and Emma having a picnic by Semer Water. Semer Water is one of only three natural lakes in Yorkshire.
