Vientiane Northern Bus Station— Laos - Bus Stations on Waymarking.com

For those arriving in the capital of the nation of Laos by bus, from a northern origin, this will be your destination point, the new "Northern Bus Station Domestic and International", located aways to the north west of the city centre.

The station starts with a large rectangular building facing a large somewhat grassed field on the main road into the city. This building sells tickets, and a small variety of goods and services, but seems largely unused, at least at 3am. Behind this building is where the buses park. They are bays for maybe a dozen or more buses, and further back from the bus building there are additional bus parking spots. The usual smorgasbord of busy, anonymous people going here and there, through the ups and downs of their lives.
