The William H. Owen Chapel pre-dates the Civil War and the site has been continuously since that time. In 1964 a new building was constructed nearby on the church grounds to accomodate the growing congregation. Worship services are still conducted in the Owen Chapel a few times a year on religious holidays. Recent renovations to both the interior and exterior of the chapel have ensured that this piece of Fayetteville religious history will be around for many generations to enjoy.
