The Franklin Children's Garden in Toronto (visit link) has several sculptures with characters from Canadian author Paulette Bourgeois' Franklin the Turtle children's books.
The gate leading to the Garden has two swinging sides resembling tree limbs...made of steel or aluminum with sculptures depicting several animals and insects. In addition to a praying mantis, dragonfly & spider, the visitor can also see a snail, vulture, turtle...and vines.
