visitors of the flora and fauna here at Buttsole Pond. It begins with
this information;
This important natural centre for wildlife first
received habitation management during the Save a Village Pond project
in 1974. Since then it has been cared for by a number of volunteers
whose enthusiasm has ensured it is the attractive and well-tended site
that we see today.
A small parking bay may be found opposite the Pond,
and a picnic style bench available for use.
