A sign showing the arms of the Skinner School on a public house of the same name. The reason for the choice isn't clear, but with the help of google this is one of many pubs to share this name and pictorial pub sign.

The Skinners' School coat of arms on a public house on Penrallt Street in Machynlleth. It shows three animals around a shield (two foxes/dogs and a wolf). The shield has three crowns and twelve arrows on it.
The pub is, and I quote a friend, "is by far the best pub in Mach". It offers a small range of real ales, along with all the stape wines, beer and ciders. They offer food at certain times of the day (ring for details)
