- Quelle: Wikipedia

Beautiful old stone bridge over the creek Samaria in the Samaria Gorge.
At the end of the gorge, the bridge leading towards the road to the sea.

"The Samaria Gorge in south-west of the Greek island of Crete, at 17 kilometers, one of the longest gorges in Europe. It performs over 1200 meters almost from the center of the island to the Libyan Sea.
Because of its overwhelming natural beauty is the Samaria Gorge, a special attraction for hikers from all over the world. During the 13 km-long path through the Samaria National Park - the actual gorge - there is no food available. Water can be drunk from any of the numerous sources and from the mountain. Also, the harbor town of Agia Roumeli is powered directly from the stream of drinking water. Only at the southern training or access to the National Park at the old deserted village of Agia Roumeli, a few kilometers from the coast of the Libyan sea away, there are some kiosks "-.
