James Fletcher's homemade headstone is located in the Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery at the corner of E. Wilshire Road and N. Hiwassee Road. It is one of about 2100 burials at this location.
The marker is a flat concrete slab approximately one foot by two foot. Imbedded into the concrete are pebbles and plastic letters with the inscription. Four pieces of PVC pipe have been inserted into the concrete. The upper two are open in the center and can be used as flower urns. The inscription reads:
