This U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey benchmark is located near the intersection where the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad cross Fox Valley Road. The mark is southeast of the intersection.

The mark/concrete base have been removed from the ground and are laying at the above listed coordinates. The future stability and reliablity of the above coords for this mark is a concern, however the disk itself is in good condition and easily distinguishable as H 387. It looks like the railroad (?) installed a rock-filled drainage ditch parallel to the track. Utilizing the 1967 notes the mark should be located in the center (or so) of the ditch.

The mark is now on the opposite side of the ditch from the tracks - 3 to 4 feet from the edge of the ditch and 60-70 or so feet from the center of the tracks. The entire concrete base for the mark is laying on it's side and measures approximately 5 feet. A well cover is located a few feet from the current location of the mark.
