The Ramer Cemetery is located on Alabama Highway 94 in Ramer, Alabama, across the street from the Ramer Branch Library. There is a stone marker on the right brick column with a 1938 date, although there are gaves from the 1800s. That indicates that the arch and entrance were erected long after the cemetery was opened. The stone marker says "Erected by Ramer Civic Club 1938 A. D. The simplicity of the gate and arch seems to reflect a civic work done in a small rural community in the depths of the Depression.
