This U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey benchmark (designated U 85 RESET 1966) is the RESET benchmark for U 85 (PID = NC0122) which has apparently been destroyed.

The mark is located in the top of a concrete culvert wall for a small creek that passes under Route 243. The mark is located south of Route 243 and in the southwest corner of the culvert wall.
