There are a series of nine of these benches in the Cardiff Bay area, at Brittania Quay and park also the Bay Waterfront park, they have come to known as Beastie Benches. This bench looks like a Shell-fish, it is impressed with the words, "There is nothing left of the sea but its sound". This seat should have a great view of the Roath Dock and the Sea, but the council/parks dept have seen fit to let a huge bush grow in front of it, so there is nothing left of the sea but its sound, perhaps a great place to sit if you want a quiet hidden read Dylan Thomas's poem ‘Ballad of the long legged bait’
