Od zárí roku 2003 je pod hradem Veverí prístupná nová dominanta - 100 metru dlouhá lávka pro peší a cyklisty spojující oba brehy prehrady. Díky ní se velmi rozšírila možnost návrhu tras Podkomorskými lesy. Jedná se o turistickou variantu (pouze peší a cyklisté) náhrady za války zborený most, jehož zbytky jsou stále patrné. Most je stavbou jihomoravského kraje roku 2003.

Since September 2003 is opened new landmark under the castle Veverí - 100 meters long bridge for pedestrians and cyclists connecting both banks of the dam. It is a tourist option (only for pedestrians and cyclists) of "compensation" for during war demolished original bridge, whose remains are still visible. The new bridge is the construction of the South Moravian Region of year 2003.
