Very beautiful church, which was built in 1933-1934 time era. The first chapel to serve Breaux Bridge was built in 1841. St. Bernard's parish was established in 1847. and first church edifice was built in 1857. This current church was built by local craftsmen using local bricks. The twin steeples make it truly unique.
