Once thriving, Sparks is now a town of 169 residents, with only one or two businesses open in town. This is a vacant two-story brick building constructed in 1926, which once housed a masonic lodge upstairs, and a service station and garage on the ground level.

On the upper wall on the west side, a stone name/date block reads: SPARKS LODGE / A.F. & A.M. No. 316 / 1926. The second floor has four sets of two double-hung windows facing the street, with a row of single and double windows along the north and south sides. The lodge once met at this location, but the building is vacant now.

On the main level, the southwest corner of the building has a large open area beneath the second floor, which once contained a gas pump bay for the service station which operated here. Within this recessed area is an overhead door leading to the back service area, as well as a small office area to the north.
