On Highway 62, west of the town of Prague is a large, beautifully landscaped park known as Johnny Behrnes Memorial Park. On the south edge near the highway, this granite obelisk stands in a small rose garden, surrounded by a circular concrete walk.

The monument stands about nine feet tall and has the seals of the five branches of the military engraved on its sides: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard. There is no plaque showing a dedication or donor of this monument.

This portion of the park has several things to see and enjoy. A large gazebo stands just south of the memorial, as well as one of the Oklahoma Centennial clocks. To the southwest of the memorial is a lovely rose garden.
