The municiple flag is one of four flags at the lake front marina, the others being the flag of the United States, Canada and the Province of Ontario. The municipal flag of Leamington incorporates the shield of the Province of Ontario’s flag (the red one, second from the left) — consisting of three golden maple leaves, representing Canada, on a green background. On the chief is the Cross of St. George, the name saint of King George III, in allegiance to whom the Loyalists first came to the land that would form the province. The crest is a black bear standing on a gold and green wreath – over a large maple leaf representing the Canada flag in gold all on a white background.
