There are a series of these benches in the Cardiff Bay area, at Britannia Quay also the Waterfront park, they have come to known as Beasti Benches. This is a single seat, with a back rest, that looks like a shell, the seat is near the corner of the Roath dock, has a great view of the the lightship 'Helwick' perhaps a great place to sit and read Dylan Thomas's poem ‘Ballad of the long legged bait’
