This benchmark (designated as 928) is set vertically in the outer wall of the East Aurora Main Street School. The mark is set approximately three feet above another U.S. Geological Survey disk that is stamped 925 A and is dated 1903 (this mark is listed in the NGS database - PID = NC0509).

According to the NGS - the mark is set in the East Wing of the school in the face of the western side, 9 feet south of entrance, 6 feet east of center line of sidewalk and 120 feet north of the center line of Main Street/Route 20).
