This peace pole is located just outside the Student Center on the Camden campus of Rutgers University. The pole reads "May Peace Prevail On Earth," an appropriate message for a city that has often been ranked the most violent city in the United States (although this area of Camden is no different than any other city, and is well patrolled). It appears to have been recently installed.
