The Jabez Fitch House was built in 1725 for Reverend Jabez Fitch who became the pastor of North Church in 1724. The house was built by members of the church for their new pastor. Reverend Jabez Fitch served as the pastor at North Church until his death on November 22, 1746 and continued to live in this house until then. The house was later owned by Simeon Stiles and the house is sometimes referred to as the Stiles house.

The house has now been converted to professional offices.
