Long Description:
The bronze archway (Torbogen) with statues of two women - a sitting one and a walking one is the work of German sculptor Doris Waschk-Balz (*1942 Berlin) in it was installed in the place in 1980. The statuary is located in one of Hamburg's quarters - Ottensen, a few hundered meters from an important Hamburg railway station- Hamburg-Altona. The arch with statues is located on the crossroad of two busy shopping streets of the district - Ottensen Hauptstrasse and Bahrenfelder Strasse.
