Wat Ming Muang is one of the older and more important Buddhist temples of the city of Nan, located in the city centre. The Wat was constructed in 1857. It is an attractive, well designed and maintained Wat, constructed with white stucco on the exterior of the ordination hall. Inside the hall are murals depicting the traditional lives of the people of Nan. Also, judging by the signs present in the Wat, the Wat carries out good works in the local community. Also of note, the City Pillar Shrine of the province is located inside the grounds of the Wat.

This temple is certainly attractive and worth a visit, if you happen to be in Nan city. Waymark made at entrance to the temple.
