This vegetarian restaurant is located near the centre of Chiang Rai, and is aimed at a local market, not so much tourists. This does have the pleasant effect of relatively low prices. The restaurant consists of a dining area, with food served from displays in the small kitchen at the entrance to the restaurant. The food is tasty, and as it is aimed at locals, very spicy. Start with a plate of rice and point to what you want placed on top. There is a sizeable amount of the fake meat products found in many Thai vegetarian restaurants. Overall, a pleasant spot to enjoy a meal. $1-$2 per customer.
