Maddox Park, named in honor of Cicero Holt Maddox II who donated land to the city. A plaque in his honor is located on the front of a fountain at the Alpharetta Welcome Center at the intersection of Old Milton Parkway and S Main Street, Alpharetta.

Prominent resident, merchant, and rural mail carrier of Alpharetta, Georgia from August 19, 1895 until his death June 11, 1958, who donated the land to build the connecting street between Norcross Street and South Main Street.
