The only family owned and operated Public Aquarium in America! In operation since 1977.
Owner/operator - Dave & Mary Alice Roberts.
After 11 years of owning a successful aquarium shop Dave had faith that 'build it and they will come.' Selling everything and leaving behind family and friends they decided to try out the idea of having their very own public aquarium.
Originally opened with 12 exhibits in 900 square feet, today you can view over 50 sparkling clear aquarium exhibits up to 1500 gallons each featuring fresh and saltwater fish, coral, and invertebrate from around the world. Also on display are many dry exhibits including a nice fossil collection on loan from Alexandria Bay resident. The Aquarium also includes a gift shop with souvenir items priced family friendly.
