This dated bridge is found in the south east corner of the small town of Sattahip, which is located in the south east of the large Thai province of Chonburi, in the south east of the Kingdom. A nautical town, with a long history in the fishing business, and now a major base of the Royal Thai Navy.

Constructed not too long ago, and certainly not a major bridge, and to be frank, not an overly aesthetically pleasing construction, but here it is. Maybe 20m long, running along the beach. The inscription simply refers to the Public Works Dept. (not a flash department, but they do the essential work), and the year of construction. The Buddhist Era year is given in the curvaceous Thai script (the lower line of text). This is 2543, which equates to the millennial (perhaps) Common Era year of 2000. There is an identical plaque at the centre of each side of the bridge.

Parking, the town market is to the immediate west of the bridge, lots of parking (and bargains, maybe).
Date built or dedicated as indicated on the date stone or plaque.: 2000

Road, body of water, land feature, etc. that the bridge spans.: small canal, unnamed.
