According to an obituary
published in the Free-Lance Star, Charles Richard Bell died in 2004 at the age of 54. He was a member and trustee at Zion Methodist Church and served 20 years in the army. He is buried in the church cemetery
The Zion UMC website says Charlie wrote an article about the history of the church for the Fall 2004 issue of Journal of American Military Past, a print publication.
