Mittenauf dem Höhenweg vom Stripsenjoch zur Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte findet man diesen Baum.
Früher wurden zur Wegmarkierung noch Blechtafeln verwendet.
Eine solche ist hier in den Baum eingewachsen.
Wegbeschreibung Höhenweg:
Vom Stripsenjoch führt über einen Sattel zunächst ein Weg in Serpendinen über eine Weide nach unten auf ca. 1.000 m von wo aus etwa der gleiche Höhnunterschied wieder aufwärts hinter dem Gipfel des Ropanzen zu einer Anhöhe führt und weiter zur Hochalm ( 1403 m ), der einzigen Hütte auf dieser Tour.
Es handelt sich aber nur um eine Alm mit Viehwirtschaft.
Nun beginnte der eigentliche Zahme Kaiser Höhenweg in westlicher Richtung. Der Steig weist wenig Höhenunterschiede auf und führt entlang dem südlichen Ausläufer des Zahmen Kaiser Massivs über gelegentliche Geröllfelder an der Kaiserquelle vorbei zur Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte
Die Gehzeit beträgt vom Stripsenjochhaus bis Vorderkaiserfelden je nach Kondition zwischen 4 und 6 Stunden. Es wird empfohlen, ausreichend Flüssigkeit mtzunehmen.

Trail Directions:
From Stripsenjoch leads over a saddle, first one way in Serpendinen a pasture down to about 1,000 m from where some of the same heights difference back up behind the top of Ropanzen leads to a hill and on to the alpine pasture (1403 m), the only hut on this tour.
But it is just a pasture with livestock.
Now the real Tame Emperor beginnte trail to the west. The trail has little elevation and runs along the southern foothills of the Massif Tame Emperor of occasional boulder fields at the source by the Emperor Vorderkaiserfelden field hut
Walking time from the front to Stripsenjochhaus Emperor Felden depending on condition 4-6 hours. It is recommended that sufficient mtzunehmen liquid.
