Dave's Soda & Pet City started out, in 1975, selling soda by the case out of the bay of an empty gas station. It was then called Dave's Soda City. Three years later they added pet food and became known, oddly enough, as Dave's Soda and Pet Food City. The business flourished and they moved twice to larger quarters. Upon moving, they added pet supplies, and then pets. Finally the name of the business evolved to the present Dave's Soda and Pet City. Today, Dave's Soda and Pet City has 5 superstores and more than 65 employees.
Dave carries soda by the case and six-pack and pets such as: tropical fish, goldfish, saltwater fish, birds ranging from canaries to parrots, reptiles, and small mammals such as hamsters and rabbits.
