In Natick, along MA Route 16, is the Broadmoor Massachusetts Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary.

The sanctuary is mostly in sections of Natick and Sherborn. Access is from MA Route 16. There is a parking lot with plenty of spaces, and from there enter the visitor center to pay your fee or show your card. The main path starts at the center and heads down to the wetland nearby. The nine miles of paths are arranged in a network, so you can take a walk of any length you feel up to. Some paths traverse the meadows and wetlands within the preserve, including those that cross them via wide boardwalks. Some paths pass by the old mill foundations that still exist there. Some go through open fields of the old farm. Some go through woods and loop by the Charles River.

Lots of wildlife can be seen. Currently, there is a beaver that has taken up residence along a small brook. Many kinds of birds were seen in the trees, meadows and water.
