This is a private museum, that houses a large and impressive collection of Buddhist and historical artefacts from the northern region of Thailand. The historical artefacts present the history of the Lanna Kingdoms. These Kingdoms existed between the 13-18th centuries, and were a rather diverse political and cultural group. The exhibits include some outstanding pieces, such as regal costumes and furniture.
The artefacts are well presented in an impressive set of grounds. The museum, unfortunately, has a strict no photographic policy. Entry is rather pricey, 300 baht ($10) for an adult, 200 baht for a child, however, I suggest worth the cost.
