This benchmark is located along the Red Road, about 17 miles north northwest of Parker, Idaho. The cap is located about 75 feet northeast of the road centerline and is set in a large lava outcrop. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1967 and was marked A373.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1967 20.0 MI N FROM PARKER. 0.1 MILE SOUTH ALONG A STREET FROM THE POST OFFICE AT PARKER, THENCE 1.0 MILE WEST ALONG A COUNTY ROAD, THENCE 18.9 MILES NORTH ALONG A COUNTY ROAD, AT A SMALL RISE IN THE ROAD, IN THE TOP OF A LARGE FLAT LAVA OUTCROP PROJECTING ABOUT 1/2 FOOT, 75 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 25.1 FEET NORTHWEST OF A WITNESS POST, AND ABOUT LEVEL WITH THE ROAD.
