This historical marker is part of a series of historical markers located all around Klamath County and commissioned by the Klamath County Historical Society.
The area that this historical marker exists was once a more bustling place many, many years ago, but today it is resorted to just a few ranch homes in the country and little else.
Directions to historical marker: The marker is located to the right of E Langell Valley Rd, in front of a corral that is still used today. There is a concrete cattle chute to the right of the marker, something I've never seen before. What's interesting is that the corral location once housed a store and post office but the building is gone, although it was still existing in 1990. From a Wikipedia search, it appears that Haynesville became known as Lorella in 1894.
