This Drive-In was opened in 1950, and served the Quinte region, and in particular, CFB Trenton for over 40 years, before shutting down in 1992. I can remember sitting (suffering?) through the first run of Attack of The Killer Tomatoes, arguably the worst movie ever made. This film was so awful, that the Drive In was almost empty before the end of the first feature!
The land and buldings were sold to Cooney trucking The screen and old projection room/concession stands were razed in 2002.
Today all that remain are the raised ground the screen sat on, the old driveway entrance and exit, and that distinctive fencing/enclosure once so prevalent around drive-ins.
Current condition: Very little remains (signs, speaker posts, car ramps, screen structure, etc.)
Address: Whites Road Trenton, ON CA K8V5R9
