This island-themed restaurant, owned by singer Jimmy Buffett, is located in Westgate City Center in Glendale's entertainment district near University of Phoenix Stadium and Jobing.com Arena. The two-story restaurant is over 20,000 square feet with three bars and has a gift shop selling various island-themed items including shirts, sandals and mini surf boards.
In addition to the airplane hanging from it, the ceiling includes another cool feature, a painting of a pirate's map of the west coast that shows Glendale as a coastal city just off the New Arizona Reef.
The restaurant has patio and balcony seating overlooking Westgate's $6 million WaterDance fountain. At 5 p.m. each day, the fountain begins a show where shooting water is synched to a set of Buffett's most well-known songs, including "It's Five O'clock Somewhere" and, of course, "Margaritaville".
