Description of Memorial: I found this secluded memorial while traveling through town on my way to a meeting. I had placed several other waymarks from this area but didn't discover this one until recently.
It sits in a nice little park with a sitting area. On the wall near the memorial is a silouette of the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.
A couple benches and a shade are in this park to comfort those who are visiting.
