Smithy in Tešany is uniquely well-preserved building artisan workshops in conjunction with economic and residential houses. There is an exposition of blacksmithing and wheelwright as part of the Technical Museum in Brno.

The first written report tešanské forge comes from the late 17th century. We can not assume that the local blacksmith shop was established immediately after the establishment of the aristocratic court Tešany 1377 The building in its present form rustic Baroque was built around 1700 on the site of an older, historically documented forge.

Kovárna v Tešanech je unikátne stavebne zachovalá remeslná dílna s napojením na další hospodárská a obytná stavení. Je zde umístena expozice kovárství a kolárství jako soucást Technického muzea v Brne.

První písemná zpráva o tešanské kovárne pochází z konce 17. století. Místní kovárna nevznikla bezprostredne po založení šlechtického sídla v Tešanech roku 1377. Budova má v soucasnosti podobu selského baroka a byla postavena kolem roku 1700 na míste starší, historicky doložené kovárny.
