This bell tower is part of the Mission Basilica here in San Juan Capistrano.

This tower is located on the west side of the Mission Basilica. It stands about 100 feet tall and rings about every hour. You can hear these bells from a half a mile away. To visit the bell tower is free, but going up inside of it is off limits. The plaque near the bell tower reads, "'Spirit and likeness' of the Great Stone Church on the Mission grounds which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1812."
